01 / Connect
Link your payouts, bring in your clients
Connect a bank account and card processing, then import clients from a CSV or add them as you invoice. Stapler starts watching deposits straight away.
00 / Invoicing for freelancers + small agencies
Stapler builds your branded invoices, takes card and bank payments, and pins every deposit to the invoice it belongs to. Reminders go out in a tone you'd actually use, so the chasing stops.
Single Sheet $0 / Binder $29 / Filing Cabinet $429
Studios, freight crews and one-person shops staple their invoices with Stapler and get on with the work.
01 / Features
Five tools that share one ledger, so an invoice, its payment, its reminders and the receipts behind it never drift apart.
Invoice builder
Drop in your logo, pick a layout, save it as a template. Every new invoice opens with your terms, your payment link and your sign-off already in place. Line items and tax are the only things left to type.
Payment matching
A card payment lands, a bank transfer clears, and Stapler pins it to the right invoice by amount, reference and client. The odd ones surface for a one-click confirm instead of a Sunday-night hunt through your statement.
Recurring billing
Set the schedule once, whether it's monthly, quarterly or whatever the contract says. Stapler issues, sends and collects each run. Pause a client, change an amount or end a plan without touching a single past invoice.
Reminder sequences
Build a sequence: a nudge before the due date, a friendly note the day it lapses, a firmer follow-up with the pay link attached. A payment, or a reply, stops the sequence on its own.
Receipts + expenses
Snap or forward a receipt and Stapler reads the vendor, date and total, files it under a category and can attach it to the client it was spent for. Month-end stops being a shoebox.
02 / Walkthrough
Three setup moves, an afternoon at most. After that, invoices go out and deposits find their way home.
01 / Connect
Connect a bank account and card processing, then import clients from a CSV or add them as you invoice. Stapler starts watching deposits straight away.
02 / Configure
Upload a logo, save a template, choose Net-14 or Net-30 and pick a reminder sequence. Everything is a default you can override on a single invoice.
03 / Launch
Hit send and the invoice carries a pay link for cards and bank transfers. When the money lands, the invoice flips to Paid and the reminders stop.
03 / Works with
Link a Jira ticket, a Trello card or a Figma file to a line item. Keep signed contracts in Dropbox, let Zendesk threads sit beside the invoice they're about, and send Datadog usage totals into metered line items.
04 / Plans
Prices are monthly. Start on Single Sheet at $0 and move up the day ten invoices a month stops being enough.
Side projects and your first few clients.
Freelancers who invoice every week.
Teams that need roles, tax rules and a paper trail.
05 / In their words
Stapler matched a bank deposit to the right invoice before I'd even opened my email. The spreadsheet where I ticked off payments is closed for good.
The reminder sequence says what I'd say, minus the awkward. Clients answer with “sorry, paying today” instead of going quiet on me.
Our retainers bill on the first of the month by themselves, with the right amount and a receipt attached. Quarter-end was a read-through, not a rebuild.
06 / Your move
Pick a plan, send the first one today, and let the deposit find its own way home.
Choose your planReminders go out in your voice, not ours: polite on day one, firm only when it has to be.
Card and bank payments get matched the moment they land.
